ELK MEADOW (EMEC)
Our Vision & Mission
VISION STATEMENT: to create a collaborative therapeutic environment where everyone feels connected and supported.
Elk Meadow envisions vibrant communities where justice-involved individuals, persons of color, military members, and other clients - who have experienced trauma, and their families - have equitable access to opportunities and resources so they can achieve their fullest potential and participate in and contribute to all aspects of their community.
MISSION STATEMENT: to provide knowledge, resources, and support that develop functional wellness.
Elk Meadow's mission is to help justice-involved individuals, persons of color, military members, other clients, and their families - struggling with physical, emotional, and psychological pain - by leveraging Elk Meadow’s in-house services, professional networks, community partners, and generous donors. As a community resource, Elk Meadow's mission is to provide life-transforming opportunities to justice-involved and other clients struggling with trauma, substance use disorders, mental health disorders, systemic stigma and discrimination, and other potentially life-threatening circumstances.
